Fresh coffee with a purpose.
Having recently moved from Honduras, Joshua and Abigail Dykes took over New Flower Coffee Roaster on December 1st of 2023.
Josh and Abigail (Abby) lived in Gracias, Lempira, Honduras where they worked with churches in mountain villages. Honduras, one of the top 3 coffee-producing countries in the world, has an extensive coffee culture. For Josh and Abby, Coffee feels like home. Having had close friends who grew and cultivated coffee, Josh and Abby saw many Hondurans break their backs working the coffee fields to receive very little compensation for their labor. That inspired them to acquire New Flower Coffee Roaster.
New Flower Coffee Roaster only uses fair-trade coffee with zero chemicals used in the process. This is a guaranty for the workers to receive worthy funds, a promise to have a fulfilling and healthy product, and a chance to form new connections in local East-Texas. Taking a leap of faith, New Flower Coffee Roaster also commits to continue putting 10% of all of its profits into local community development.
New Flower Coffee Roaster. Drink Good Coffee. Do Good Deeds.
